MOSTEIROS BEACH AND FISHING PORT
Mosteiros Beach is located on the west coast, that works as a point break with ripples from the northeast quadrant to the south quadrant. In the fishing harbour they break long rights and, sometimes, with south waving, the lefts begin to function. The waves of Mosteiros are waves that break into slabs of rock, requiring a lot of experience. The crowd in Mosteiros is quite affable.

SANTA BÁRBARA (our school and tuka tula bar)
Beach break a bit further away from Ribeira Grande. When the sandbanks are restored, they will offer large pipes up to a considerable size. It has a long stretch of sand, with multiple peaks with good access to the beach. On the west side of Santa Bárbara, we have a left formed from the refraction of energy in the hill, which offers wide and intense tubes.

MONTE VERDE / SWIMMING POOLS / STREAM / ESPINAFRES
Excellent beach break, located on the north of the island, works with any swell
direction. It can be a very powerful wave on bigger days, advising some
attention to the currents.
Peak next to the pools may break a long right and
tubular, on the opposite side of the beach (espinafres) breaks a left. It is a
beach break in front of the city of Ribeira Grande with easy access.

SANTA IRIA
Santa Iria’s Bay is protected from great ripples of the west and southwest quadrant. Point break of long lefts and rights, wave for all types of surfer. Access is made from a rail with difficult access.

Beach break that works with all the ripples of the south, east and west quadrant. It is an urban beach near Ponta Delgada with a lot of crowd, from beginners to experienced surfers, that on days of swell of the south it becomes a long tubular point break.

PÓPULO

Beach break that works with all the ripples of the south and east quadrant. It's the best option, if Pópulo is too crowded. The spring next to the hotel gives a long left on the days of greater south swell.

VILA FRANCA DO CAMPO
Baixio da Vila, located on the right side of Vila Franca do Campo's harbour, a right and left point (playground) super fun for any surfer. The left is very long, but it can only be surfed at full tide.

RIBEIRA QUENTE
Ribeira Quente, point break of left and right, that breaks along a protective jetty that works with south quadrant ripples. The left with a good swell can form long walls and super fun heaves.
